Ai piedi della chiesetta di San Giorgio, nel comune di Brazzano (GO), son ubicati i vigneti che danno origine a questo vino frutto di un blend di vitigni tipici delle nazioni confinanti con l’Italia.

THE WINERY

The “Sun Giorgio” is a small company founded by Raffaela Bruno and Edi Clementin, both with a long professional experience in prestigious wineries: Raffaela in the strictly enological field, while Edi in a managerial role and in marketing. The lands owned are located in Brazzano, a lovely rural village near Cormòns, and extend for four hectares on the side of the hill. On its top, and specifically on the ruins of a fortress, the church of San Giorgio was built around the 13th century and the corporate brand draws inspiration from it.
Two hectares are planted with vineyards and two are used for woods and meadows. The planting of the vines, about six thousand per hectare, dates back to the beginning of 2000. The training systems are Guyot and Cappuccina.
Inside the vineyard you can find a farmhouse dating back to the end of the 19th century, once used for the rest of travelers and horses coming from the North East, then the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and headed to Trieste.
